Firstly I’m a testicular cancer survivor who has been searching for comfortable underwear that doesn’t press everything in one tiny bunch. I’m a 6’5” male nurse on my feet all day and up and down from sitting position. These briefs keep everything right up front and out of the way. When sitting I longer need to readjust myself before sitting. LOVE them. Sometimes I feel like I’m wearing nothing at all.

While Saxx and Duluth Trading Co. offer a small piece of material to keep the testicles off the legs, I’ve found that ErgoWear and Real Man Apparel truly deliver on the concept of “sack-style” underwear. What sets Real Man Apparel apart is the thoughtful range of pouch sizes—A, B, C, and D—which allows for a more personalized fit. Additionally, Real Man Apparel and ErgoWear are the only brands I’ve found that offer men’s tights and long johns suitable for gym workouts and cold weather. All of these brands use high-quality materials like cotton, bamboo, and moisture-wicking fabrics, but Real Man Apparel consistently delivers comfort and durability that support an active lifestyle. I genuinely enjoy wearing your products. In 2024, I purchased several items from your boxer brief collection, including the 6" and 9" lengths in Small-B pouch. I was impressed by the fit and feel. This year, I ordered the 7" boxer briefs in Medium-B pouch to accommodate some recent weight gain. I noticed the fit was different—the 7" style felt looser, especially in the pouch area. Upon comparison, I realized the 6" and 9" versions have additional stitching along the pouch sides, which seems to offer better support. While the pouch size may be consistent, the overall feel of the 7" was noticeably more relaxed. I’ve just placed another order this time selecting the 7" in Small-A and the 9" in Medium-B. These things are awesome! The material is perfect for hot Texas summers and staying comfortable. The ability to select pouch size is amazing, I had surgery for testicular cancer and I can finally wear pouch underwear that fit and give me back my confidence. These have quickly edged out another brand of “separate” underwear as my favorite undies in my drawer.
Been wearing them for a couple days now and so far, I absolutely love them. The feel is great, super soft and cool. The fit is amazing, exactly what I was hoping for. I’d say the pouch estimator method is spot on. My package fills the pouch nicely without any real squeezing or squishing and it is very comfortable and supportive. Keeps the junk away from the thighs so no smashing or sticking. I’ll be ordering another pack very soon.

I love the fit and feel of them except for the pouch. The single stitch on the pouch made kind of an odd shape and not a nice round shape like others that have the double stitch seam on the pouch. I've noticed that with both nylon and modal. All of my other pairs with the double stitch are awesome and I can't say enough good things about them though. I just wish it was in the description of the items on the website whether the pouch was single or double seams because it doesn't always match the pictures.
Felt like the belt sizing of L was a tiny bit more firm on waist than the L of the softer that i usually have ordered. Can’t remember its name. Has been out of stock for too long. Decided to try these. I like these just not as much as the normal. I prefer the softer material. These are maybe a little more “sporty”? Both hold the whole “package” in place but worth lots of freedom to not be pulled against my body all day. Either way i am happy with both.
These are my favorite underwear to date. So comfortable, even if they get wet, dry fast and good to keep working.
I got the C pouch in their Bikini Briefs and the pouch fit great. So I got these Boxer Briefs in a C and dont fill them out quite as well. I still "hang" well in them and they're really comfortable. But Id definitely size down if you think you're in between.
I ordered some of the jocks and they didn't quite fit right and Real Men were super helpful in getting me a store credit to get a different set of underwear altogether. The briefs ordered the second go around were perfect! They fit well and are the most comfortable pair I've ever worn. They found a lifetime customer in me.
Item arrived on time. Quality is very good. I work in hot conditions and already appreciate the comfort and lack of sticking. Definitely would recommend and buy again.
The fabric on these is some of the highest quality yet in any real men’s products I’ve tried and this is my 5th order. My only negative is the pouch on these runs a little smaller. The pouch is more snug than some other versions with the same size pouch. That being said I believe it’s due to the higher quality fabric causing a more flexible fit that stretches to be more accommodating rather than just larger to begin with. Im 5’7” with an athletic build and some dad fat, I wear a size 34 waist in jeans and dress slacks and the XL fits great. If you have thinner thighs or rear you may not need to size up and can stay true to size guide.

I’m neurodivergent and have a very difficult time with finding comfortable underwear. I was hesitant to try these out, but saw a lot of positive reviews for them. I ended up ordering a pack of XL B. While I liked them, they didn’t provide the comfort I was wanting, so I reached out and was able to exchange them for a pack of XL C. I typically wear SAXX, but I give Five stars not only to the boxer briefs, but also to their customer service. These are some of the best I’ve ever tried especially for the price.

Amazing fit, love the way the “pouch” hugs into my legs and separates the “junk” from rubbing into my legs or creating uncomfortable tension around the area. Similarly, I love the way the underwear enhances the bulge. I have tried different underwear but these just took the win above other brands.

This all started when I was looking for something "different" from your typical confining boxer briefs. I didn't care about the "enhancement" end of things, I just wanted support for the boy's and separation from the legs and stumbled onto real men. These are the most comfortable brand underwear I have ever worn. Now have boxer briefs, leggings for winter (modal), leggings for preventing sunburn while kayaking (Nylon), and now this order of the ultralight boxers that take it to yet another level. For these hot summer months, these ultralight boxers are the best of all the attributes. The right combo of comfort, support, and now very breathable. Me and the boys thank you!
