There is a pouch size for every package. We're just here to help you find yours.
On this week's episode of Real Men Real Talk, we did something long overdue — we walked through the entire Real Pouch System on camera. A through D. No assumptions, no skipping the basics. Just a real breakdown of who each pouch size is for and what it actually does. If you've ever stared at the size chart and wondered if you're in the right one, this is your episode.
We call it the Ball Metric System. Here's how it works.

The A Pouch — Incognito Mode
The A Pouch is smaller in profile and lower in front-of-pants visibility. A lot of guys assume it's only for smaller guys, but that's not the whole story. The A is also for the guy who wants to be incognito — under basketball shorts, sweatpants, or any situation where you'd rather things not announce themselves.
In fact, plenty of B and C guys keep a few A pouches in rotation specifically for working out. It's not compression exactly — there's no squeeze — but it holds everything tighter to the body and cuts down on movement. Think of it as the low-profile option. If you're wearing an A and you're falling out or feel like it's not containing you well, that's your signal to size up. But if you just want to move through your day quietly, the A does its job.
The B Pouch — The Workhorse
Fifty percent of all RMAC sales go right here. The B Pouch is one step up from the A in size — more lift, solid separation, and it fits the widest range of guys without issue.
The honest caveat: fabric matters here. In modal, the B fits more consistently. In nylon, which has a lot more spring-back and pull, the B can run snugger. If you're wearing a V-Fly construction, the fly design itself can create some gapping for larger guys — so if you're on the bigger end of the B and finding it a little unpredictable, sizing up to a C is a very common and legitimate move. A lot of guys who start in B end up in C after a few wears. That's a feature, not a mistake.
The C Pouch — More Space, More Hang
The C Pouch is the second best-seller. If the B runs snug for you, or if you just want more real estate, the C is the next step up. More hang, more room to move, lower carry position.
We put a literal pickleball in the mannequin to show the structure — the C hangs lower and gives the whole area more breathing room. If you love that free feeling in boxer briefs, the C delivers it without going full loose. It's also great for guys who bottom out in the pouch with a standard construction — especially if you're longer, the V-Fly C gives you more downward flex so things don't push the pouch forward and create that bottomed-out feeling.
The D Pouch — The Sleeper Hit
Yes, the D Pouch is sized for larger guys. But here's what most people don't know: if you're a B or C wearing a D, everything just floats. Loosey goosey. Zero skin contact, nothing sticking to anything, and the extra fabric in the front acts almost like a cooling layer as you change shape and size throughout the day.
The D is particularly great for sleeping. Nothing pressing against skin, everything kept secure without contact, and the wicking fabric does its job without the pouch being tight enough to trap heat. If you run warm or hate that sticky feeling at night, a D pouch in modal is worth trying even if you don't "need" the size. The extra fabric doesn't hurt — it helps.
A Few Things Worth Knowing
You don't have to fill the pouch out. The mannequins are stuffed so you can see the structure. In real life, extra pouch fabric just means more airflow and more freedom. It's not going to look weird — it's going to feel better.
V-Fly vs. non-V-Fly matters. The V-Fly construction allows for more downward hang and flex. The non-V-Fly lifts more. If you're longer and you keep bottoming out in the pouch, go V-Fly. If you want maximum lift and upward support, non-V-Fly is your move.
Fabric changes the fit. Modal runs slightly more relaxed. Nylon mesh has more spring and pull. If you're between sizes, try both fabrics before committing — you may land in different pouches depending on the material.
Also This Week — The Modal V-Fly Briefs Just Dropped
New this Thursday: the Modal V-Fly Briefs in Lemon Icing, Peach Dust, and Nimbus Cloud. Higher waistband, full seat, V-Fly construction for more downward length and flex. Summer colorways. If you've been on the fence about briefs, the V-Fly construction makes a real difference — more room up front without sacrificing coverage in the back.
Next Week — Calvin Klein vs. Real Men
We've gone head to head with Hanes and Pair of Thieves. Neither one gave us much of a fight. Calvin Klein is different — it's got some tricks up its sleeve. We're going in curious. Don't miss it.
