Key Takeaways
- The Real Men Seamless Thong features a heat-formed pouch that sits higher and delivers more space than any competitor on the market
- Fabric is 74% nylon, 26% spandex — brushed soft on the inside, smooth on the outside, with excellent moisture-wicking stretch
- New seamless thongs need to be broken in before first wear — stretch the waist and legs to loosen the heat-formed seams
- Follow wash care instructions closely — heat will degrade the heat-formed seams over time
- Available in A, B, and C pouch sizes across 36 size variations; D size is currently in development
Three Years in the Making
When Chris and Tilghman sit down to talk product, there's a specific kind of energy in the room — somewhere between a product demo and two guys who genuinely can't believe what they get to do for a living. The Real Men Seamless Thong launch episode has that energy cranked up.
This product didn't happen overnight. As Chris explains, RMAC founder Jared Mortensen has been working on seamless pouch-forming technology for about three years. The challenge wasn't making a seamless thong — those exist everywhere. The challenge was building a real pouch into one. Getting that technology to work at a C size was, in Chris's words, "so much work." But they got there.
The result is what Chris and Tilghman confidently call the largest seamless pouch thong available anywhere.
What Makes This Different
The fabric story starts with the numbers: 74% nylon, 26% spandex. Tilghman demonstrates the stretch on camera and it snaps right back — no hesitation. The inside of the fabric has a brushed texture that earns the "buttery soft" description more than once in this episode. The outside runs smoother and more silky. For guys who want the moisture-wicking, gym-ready performance of nylon but can't stand that synthetic feel, this one lands differently. It feels organic in a way that most performance fabrics don't.
The pouch is the real story, though. On a standard seamless thong, the pouch forming starts low and doesn't give much room. On the Real Men version, the forming starts significantly higher — providing real lift and noticeably more space. Chris does a side-by-side on camera using "Bob the Booty" (their mannequin of choice) and the comparison does all the talking. The standard thong leaves almost two finger-widths of gap between the fabric and the leg. The Real Men version fits flush and secure.
As Tilghman puts it: "There's nobody giving you guys space like we do, because we have 36 size variations for everybody to choose from."
Breaking In Your New Thong
One thing Chris is clear about: don't put this thing on cold and expect it to feel perfect immediately. Seamless thongs — especially ones with heat-formed construction — come out of the package a little stiff. That's normal.
The move is to stretch it before you wear it. Work the waistband, stretch the leg openings, and if the back strap feels short, pull it lengthwise. You might hear or feel some small pops — that's just the adhesive in the heat-sealed band loosening up, which is exactly what you want. Chris compares it to breaking in a new pair of leather boots. A little resistance up front, then it conforms and wears like it was made for you.
One stretch session before the first wear — about a minute — is usually enough to make a significant difference.
Take Care of the Seams
This is the one area where the seamless thong needs a little more attention than your standard RMAC pair. The seams are heat-formed, which is what gives them that smooth, seam-free feel. That same process means they're sensitive to sustained heat.
Don't throw these in a hot dryer. Follow the wash instructions. Chris acknowledges with full self-awareness that most guys (himself included) throw underwear in with everything and dry at maximum heat — but this is the one product where that habit will cost you. The heat-forming will degrade over time if you ignore the care instructions, and that means your investment doesn't last as long as it should.
The Pouch Size Situation
The Seamless Thong is currently available in A, B, and C pouch sizes. D-size pouch — a staple of the RMAC lineup — is not available yet. Chris is upfront about this: pushing seamless forming technology to a C was already a significant engineering achievement, and D is in development. He's confident Jared will get there. In the meantime, 36 size variations covering three pouch sizes means the vast majority of the RMAC customer base is covered.
What's Coming Next
Chris teases a future product with a "similar theme" to the Seamless Thong and invites viewers to guess in the comments. No specifics yet, but the implication is clear — RMAC is building out a seamless lineup, not just launching a one-off product.
The Seamless Thong itself may sell out quickly. Tilghman estimated it could be gone within a day or two of launch. If it does sell out, Chris believes it'll be back — with possible improvements as the technology continues to evolve.
The Bottom Line
Real Men has always built products around one premise: men deserve underwear that actually fits the way their bodies work. The Seamless Thong is that premise applied to a category that, until now, has mostly been an afterthought for brands that treat the male anatomy as a one-size problem.
The pouch is real. The space is real. The softness is real. And the side-by-side comparison in this episode makes it hard to argue with any of that.
